This is my third installment in my series of food rotations I give to my dog. Stella and Chewy’s is the maker of raw and freeze dried dog food and treats. I’ve met with the founder Marie Moody a few times and she started her rescue Chewy and Chewy’s best friend Stella on raw diet. This was the start of Stella and Chewy’s!

ZiwiPeak – Hunger From Down Under

The first in the series of foods that I feed my dogs is ZiwiPeak. Most people probably have not heard of this company or food. Mark and I were really excited when we first discovered this food 3 years back at a tradeshow. ZiwiPeak is from New Zealand. It is a very unique product, super high in quality, extremely palatable and best of all, you can still scoop and go like kibble.

Almost without fail, everyday I will encounter a customer that comes in that has been sold on the kibble myth. What is the kibble myth? That kibble cleans teeth! Stop and think about this for a second, this is saying that eating a bowl of Captain Crunch is good for our teeth. We all know that is not the case but somehow the kibble industry has been able to sell this idea and try to lock in customers to kibble. read more
